WHAT IF A BIBLICAL EXPERIENCE COULD TAKE YOU BEYOND READING ABOUT ABRAHAM — AND, FOR A WHILE, LET YOU BE HIM?

Abraham is sitting at the entrance of his tent.
Three men appear.
What does he notice? What does he choose to do?And what might we discover if, for a little while, we were sitting there instead?

That question became the starting point for something new at Galilee Dreams:
STEP INTO ABRAHAM’S TENT - THE BIBLICAL EXPERIENCE
Based on just three verses — Genesis 18:1, 2 & 4 — Step Into Abraham’s Tent invites participants to enter the story from the inside.
You see what Abraham saw. You consider the choices before him. You begin to notice how much can be happening inside a few familiar verses.
And then the story changes form.

IN 5 MINUTES
THE STORY MOVES BETWEEN PEOPLE
The experience continues with the original BE ABRAHAM card game.
This is not a game where everyone sits quietly around a table waiting for a turn.
People get up. They approach one another. They ask, offer, exchange and move on — looking for what they need while discovering what they can give.
Soon, conversations are happening all around the room. Cards are changing hands. People are helping one another build their own “tent.” In a larger group, many of these exchanges happen at once.
And something shifts.
Hospitality is no longer only something Abraham did thousands of years ago.For a while, it becomes something happening between the people in the room.

WILL THIS WORK WITH MY PEOPLE?
Every group is different.
An evening with grandchildren does not feel like a classroom. A family gathering has a different rhythm from a youth group, homeschool group or community event.
That is exactly why Step Into Abraham’s Tent was designed to be flexible.
You do not need to be a teacher, Bible scholar or professional facilitator to lead it. The experience is already structured for you, with a clear Before You Begin section and step-by-step Facilitator Guide.
You choose what fits your people, your time and your setting. Prepare the parts you want to use, gather your people — and begin.

DIFFERENT AGES CAN ENTER THROUGH DIFFERENT DOORS
A younger child may first be drawn in by the atmosphere, movement, objects or cards. An older child may start asking why Abraham chose to do what he did. Teenagers may question those choices, debate them, or notice something the adults missed. Adults may linger with questions of hospitality, generosity, responsibility and what it means to truly notice another person.
In a mixed-age family or community group, all of those responses can happen side by side.
Not everyone has to discover the same thing. Everyone simply needs a way into the story.
WHAT MAKES THE EXPERIENCE WORK?
Often, less.
Step Into Abraham’s Tent gives you many possibilities, but you do not need to use them all. Choose what fits your people, your space and the time you have.
A younger group may need more movement. A larger group may benefit from a short practice before the game. Sometimes a quiet moment is best left quiet.
Everything is prepared for you. You choose what belongs in your version of the experience.

WITH FOOD — OR WITHOUT IT- AN OPTIONAL SHARED TABLE
THE CORE EXPERIENCE | ADD A SHARED TABLE |
Complete on its own. No food is needed. | Add olive oil, za’atar, olives, dates and pita or bread — and let participants actually share hospitality around the table. |
Sharing food can make Abraham’s hospitality tangible in a completely different way. For those who choose this option, the materials include direct Amazon links to suggested foods — whenever possible, the same or similar products we use in Galilee Dreams gift packages.

A small Biblical oil lamp can change the feeling of a room.
Passing around a natural scented sachet can introduce aroma into the experience and awaken another sense.
These physical additions are available separately for those who want them.
They are simply more ways to help the story move from the page into the space around you.

WHEN A STORY BECOMES AN EXPERIENCE
For the past six years, Galilee Dreams has been sending natural gifts from the Galilee and the Land of the Bible around the world — from Biblical oil lamps to natural scented sachets and other creations inspired by this land and its stories.
Over time, another possibility became clear: not only to send something inspired by these stories, but to help people step inside them.
That is where our downloadable Biblical experiences began.
They bring together history, education and storytelling to turn knowledge and memory into a shared experience — one that invites people to explore these stories together and discover what they may still have to say to us today.
And they are designed to be simple to bring into your own space:
Download the materials. Print what you need. Gather your people. And begin.
The files arrive instantly — but the experience itself happens in the room, between people.
With no physical package to ship from Israel, these Print & Go experiences can reach families, educators and communities around the world simply and affordably.
Step Into Abraham’s Tent is a ready-to-lead Biblical experience created in exactly this way.

THE STORY DOESN’T END ON THE PAGE
Step Into Abraham’s Tent was created to help people move beyond reading a familiar Biblical story — and experience it together.
To notice. To choose. To share. To ask questions. And perhaps to discover something in these ancient words that still matters today.
